Pork Bone Broth
A rich and savory broth made from pork bones for everyday soups and stews.
Ingredients
- 2 kg pork neck and femur bones
- 1 onion, halved
- 1 knob ginger, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 scallions
- 4 L cold water
Method
- optionalBlanch bones for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
- Add bones, aromatics, and water to a large pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer.
- Simmer 8-12 hours, skimming foam as needed.
- Strain and cool quickly before storing.
