Chicken Bone Broth
A lighter everyday broth with clean flavor and balanced body.
Ingredients
- 2 whole chicken carcasses (or 2 kg mixed bones)
- 1 onion, quartered
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3.5 L cold water
Method
- optionalRoast bones for 25 minutes at 210°C for deeper flavor.
- Combine all ingredients in a stockpot.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to low simmer.
- Simmer 8-12 hours for a clean but rich broth.
- Strain and season later when using in recipes.
